Did you know that the Iguanodon could fight with a Deinonychus? This fact was revealed in a recent documentary titled Iguanodon Fighting With Deinonychus. It is fascinating to note that both dinosaurs were carnivores. While we cannot know whether the Iguanodon actually fought the Deinonychus, we do know that it was a powerful raptor.

Early dinosaur experts mistakenly thought the Iguanodon had a horn on its nose, but later discoveries have revealed that it had spikes on its thumbs. It was approximately 10 meters long, or five men lying head-to-toe. It is not known if the Iguanodon actually fought Deinonychus, but it is believed that it defended itself with its teeth.
The Deinonychus had a strong running style and was part of the Saurischia order of dinosaurs. It was not a lizard or a dinosaur, but was part of a group of closely related bipedal dinosaurs. The Deinonychus's size and color patterns were the only differences between the two. The fact that Deinonychus was a faster runner than an Iguanodon makes it all the more amazing.
